Knocked Up
Ok, so this guy didn't get me knocked up...
But this guy did...
So now I'm hosting our third little womb dweller.
We're happy, really we are...just a little shocked.
I love this little peanut already though.
Wonder if it's going to be another girl or if God's
going to shake things up and give us a boy.
We're both fine with either.
Do you have any old-wives-tale predictions?

The picture doesn't come through on my computer of the man that knocked you up. Do I know him?
Isn't that just convenient? I think there is a medical term for not recognizing yourself when you see your image...hmmm...what's that called?
Hey, now, *THAT* is some news!!!! :) I am really excited for you guys!! :) I love hearing news of little blessings on their way! :)
No old-wives-tales coming from me as to gender or anything like that! My friend Heidi (I think you guys stayed with us at their house to go hunting in 2000) has a cousin from a family of 8 girls! EIGHT!
But then again, my sister had two girls and then a boy. You just never know. :) Either way, it's VERY exciting that you're expecting another little one!
I am SO glad you commented on my blog and I checked on yours! :)
Amy :)
I think if you stand on your head, you get a boy.
Oh wait! I think that wive's tale is "if you stand on your head after sex, you will get pregnant!"
You don't NEED that wive's tale, do you?!
Congratulations! Woohoo!
Wonderful news Jodi! all my blessings to you and yours for your new adventure
fantastic
Meg
Me again just wondering how this all fits in with your time of discernment?
Amy, yeah, we've fully embraced it now and are pretty excited but quite overwhelmed to think about three kids 3 and under!
Karla, Hmm...we'll have to try that one...oh, wait, guess it's too late! shucks.
Megan,
Thanks for stopping by. The discernment is continuing and it actually fits quite well because we had already decided this fall would be out so we would want to wait until the next fall which would work better, now especially with a new babe. As far as having three kids and both being priests, we still feel compelled toward this direction more the more involved we become in the liturgy, life of our parish, and study under our rector. It's really exciting to think about it too. As for the logistics of classes in seminary, we're leaving that to the wind to see how it plays out. Some things we just have to form more like a rubber band than a board, you know?
Thanks for asking.
What persuasion of ordained are you?
just checking.
