To Papa

,,,,,,,,,,,,, mmmmm ,,,,nnnnnnnnnnnn .....m.,,,,,,,,,,j,............

This is Momo. She's almost 2. That up there is her typing a love note to her papa, whom she hasn't seen in 5 days!
She misses him a lot. So much so that she's been quite the naughty stinker since we got home. Following are just some of the things she has done to make me know she's missing him:)
1. Unravelled all the paper towel
2. Took out all the paper cups and strategically placed them all over the apartment
3. Took out many of the paper plates and spread them all over my bedroom
4. Spilled milk
5. Threw books and toys in my general direction

She can be a "stinker" but she's so darn cute!

Ah, yes... these are similar things to what Naomi has been doing since we moved to Arizona--to get my attention, I think! Naomi has been coloring on the walls with crayons, pens & pencils (which she did *not* do before!), rolling toilet paper out, climbing on the back of the couch, holding kittens by their front legs, coloring on herself with markers, etc...

These are some of the most frustrating moments of being a mom, I think! I will try to remember to pray for you, Jodi!

I love Mo. Thanks for teaching her how to grow up and be a little girl.

I'm trying to look at them as those beautiful "touchpoints" as that one Dr. author calls them, and not "frustrations points" as they often are. Changing my approach and attitude helps me see the beautiful child of God she is too:) She's just the way we prayed she'd be: Strong, independent, funny, and beautiful.
